A Personal Note from Barbara

A few years ago, it seemed that wherever I went, various people would say, “Your voice is so soothing” or “I love your voice.” This seemed odd because I never imagined my voice to be more than ordinary. After hearing a great number of these comments, I decided to pray. The thought came to make these recordings. After several years of collecting scriptures, I called my friend, Tony, and contacted Lifter Studios. A year later, we had “Comfort From the South”.

My heart so appreciates our US military. Thank you so much for insuring that freedom is guarded and kept not only in our own country but also in others. This is a gift that you give to us that fame and fortune cannot buy. My esteem for you also inspired me to make these recordings. God bless you for giving your all!

I must say, that after spending three years searching and pondering scriptures for this CD, I have been changed. I had no idea of the life changing power that comes when frequently exposed to God through his thoughts as He has expressed them through His Word.
